Check Batteries In Smoke Alarms With Time Change

Daylight Savings Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday and residents are reminded not only to turn back their clocks one hour – but also to check the batteries in their smoke alarms.  The state fire marshal’s office reminds residents that batteries should be checked during the time change each spring and fall, to ensure that your home remains safe, should you fall victim to a fire.
