Bain to Serve As Grand Marshal In Veterans Day Parade

The Lawrenceburg Veterans Day Parade will be held November 11, and serving as this year’s Grand Marshal will be Marshall R. Bain, III.  He started his service in the U.S. Army in the 1^st Armored Division, 1^st Battalion 37^th Armor, later becoming a tank commander.  He received the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service and acts of Heroism.  After leaving the army, he served with the National Guard in Anderson, IN before moving to Lawrenceburg to work at Murray Manufacturing.  Bain will lead the parade, which will begin at 11 a.m. at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church on North Military Avenue.
