This Halloween, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department is warning residents about the dangers of drunk driving. According to Tennessee Traffic Safety Office data, young adults aged 21 to 24 account for 29% of all alcohol-related crash fatalities, with most incidents happening at night.        The Sheriff’s Department urges partygoers to plan ahead. “The scariest part of your night shouldn’t be the drive home,” officials advise. Designate a sober driver, use a rideshare, or take public transportation to ensure a safe return home.
