Vehicle Sought in Connection With Hit-And-Run Fatality Is Located

After seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle Saturday, in connection with a hit-and-run that left a pedestrian dead in Loretto, officials indicated Saturday afternoon that the vehicle and driver had been located.   The pedestrian was reportedly struck by a vehicle at around 2:20 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 43, near Smith Circle.  No additional information has yet been released.  The incident remains under investigation through the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
