Ethridge Leaders Consider Posting No Parking Signs On Congested Streets

Ethridge leaders are looking into the cost of posting “no parking” signs along key streets within the city.  Officials have received several complaints regarding individuals habitually parking along a few city streets that are especially narrow, making travel in some locations challenging.  This is a cause for concern, should emergency vehicles need to access the streets.  City ordinances prohibit parking along streets if it “blocks or impedes traffic flow.”  Leaders plan to revisit the issue once they have a better idea of costs associated with the signage.
