Shooting Incident in Madison County

The Madison County Sheriff’s Office got a 911 call about a shooting incident in the 100 block of Murphy Lane in Triana, Alabama, at around 8:10 p.m. last night. Several units from the Huntsville Police Department (HPD) and the Sheriff’s Office responded by showing up at the location. When they arrived, they discovered that 37-year-old Trayvon Deshawn Harris had been shot in the abdomen. Huntsville Emergency Medical Services (HEMSI) took him to Huntsville Hospital for treatment, but he died shortly after from his wounds. In order to identify the perpetrator and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, CSI and Sheriff’s Major Crimes detectives are now gathering evidence and speaking with witnesses.
