On Saturday, Tennessee notched a 24-17 win over Alabama. The SEC fined Tennessee $100,000 the next day for breaking the access to competition area policy. Since the SEC changed the rules before the 2023 season, this is the program’s first infraction. The next violation would cost Tennessee $250,000, and any ensuing field storming would yield a $500,000 fine.
