Lawrence County Fire Rescue Celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Their Emergency Medical Response Program

On October 22nd, Lawrence County Fire Rescue celebrates the 10th anniversary of their Emergency Medical Response Program. On October 16th, 2014 the group graduated from LCFR’s first-ever Emergency Medical Responder Class. On October 22nd, 2014 the group would join many already licensed Emergency Medical Personnel in their organization in providing Emergency Medical Care to those in need in our community. The Emergency Medical Response program went live on October 22nd, 2014. It has undoubtedly been a blessing to many in the community. The program continues to grow, as their newest group of EMRs graduated less than two months ago. The program is a partnership between Lawrence County Fire Rescue and Lawrence County EMS. Thank you to everyone who believed in the program and worked to implement it in our County.
