Ethel Faye Stewart Morgan

Ethel Faye Stewart Morgan, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on
October 15 th , 2024 at AHC Meadowbrook in Pulaski, TN. Faye was born on
December 8 th , 1937 in Lawrenceburg to the late Marshall Hezekiah Stewart
and Viola Theo Barber Stewart. She graduated Lawrence County High
School in 1956 and would go on to receive her Bachelor’s degree from
Trevecca Nazarene College and shortly after would receive her Master’s
Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She worked for over 40
years as a school teacher for the state of Tennessee as well as the
Lawrence County School System. In her spare time, she enjoyed
photography, genealogy, tending to her flower gardens, loved attending
church events and volunteering, spending time with her loving family,
friends, and her pets. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving
husband of 63 years, Walter Lee Morgan III and her brother, William
Stewart.
She is survived by her children, Cindy Milliken, Jackie Dillingham (Mike),
and Doug Morgan (Robin); brother, Jim Stewart; grandchildren, Eric Bates
(Lauren), Ginny Cozart (Josh), Shannon Martinez (Hector), Jessica
Stanford, Jonathan Morgan, Joseph Morgan, and Emma Dillingham;
special grandchildren, Nicki Garrett (Monty) and John Dillingham (Denise);
great grandchildren, Bailey Coker, Cobin Cozart, Emma Coker, Caylen
Moore, Caleb Bates, and Natalie Bates; special great grandchildren, Riley
Watkins, Caitlin Watkins, Alijah Watkins, Will Dillingham, and Isaac
Dillingham; great great granddaughter, Novie Grace Coker, special great
great grandson, Asher Zayne Gilbert and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Saturday, October
19 th , 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The funeral service will follow the visitation beginning at 12:00 p.m. Brother
Jerry Clayton will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Old Ethridge Cemetery.
Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of handling all final
arrangements.
