3 Month Old Killed and Dad was Arrested

This week, a 3-month-old baby’s death was linked to the arrest of a man. Subsection Three resulted in a child’s death, and Sonny Summers Jr. was charged with chemical endangerment of a child, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. According to the sheriff’s office, County Fire arrived on the site immediately and began life-saving treatment. When HEMSI arrived, all attempts to save the baby’s life were ineffective, and the child was declared dead at the site. The baby’s father, Summers, was found to have been using methamphetamine around the child and then taking care of the child after use. On Wednesday, Summers was registered at the Madison County Jail. According to jail records, he was freed on a $20,000 bond later that day.
