Body Found in Sweetwater Creek in Alabama

According to Times Daily, A decaying body was discovered Friday afternoon near Florence, Alabama’s Sweetwater Creek; the police are looking into the incident. At the shallow end of the stream, immediately off Sweetwater Avenue, someone reported seeing the body. Police Sgt. Ryan Kelly stated that the identity of the male and the reason for his death remain unknown. Kelly stated that the body is being transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Huntsville to undergo an autopsy. He expressed his hope that this might aid in attempts to identify him.
