Lawrence County Teen Killed in Car Crash

A 16-year-old died in a single-vehicle crash in Lawrence County on Saturday night around 8:15 p.m. Iron City FD was the first on the scene.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the teenager was driving north on Danley Road when they failed to negotiate a right curve, drove off the road, and hit an embankment. The car then struck multiple trees and rotated before coming to a stop.
