County Commissioners Recognize LHS Baseball Team’s State Championship

Lawrence County Commissioners paid special recognition to the Loretto High School Baseball team and coaches during their meeting Tuesday, for capturing the TSSAA State Championship at Middle Tennessee State University.  The team had a season record of 30-6, with a record of 7-1 in regular season district play.  They were also undefeated in four games in the state championship, taking the Class Double-A state title with a 4-3 win against Huntingdon.
