Maury County Resident on Lawnmower Struck By Trooper

A Maury County resident was struck by a police cruiser while cutting his grass on Thursday.  The 46-year-old victim had been driving a zero-turn lawnmower adjacent to Theta Pike around 1 p.m., when he inadvertently pulled into the path of a State Trooper who was driving past.  The victim, who sustained injuries, was transported for medical treatment.
