Students Excel at State SkillsUSA Competition

A number of students from Lawrence County, Loretto and Summertown High Schools earned highest honors while competing in the state SkillsUSA competition in Chattanooga last week.   Numerous students competed in all different types of competitions.   Lawrence County students attained different levels of success, including gold medals in the areas of:  masonry, automotive maintenance, additive manufacturing, welding, and cabinetry.  Students who won gold medals will move onto the national competition in Atlanta in June.
