Summertown Utility District Customers Asked to Conserve Water During Drought

Summertown Utility District is asking customers to conserve water as much as possible during this period of drought.  The majority of the water in Summertown Utility District area comes from underground wells, which are experiencing dropping water levels. Per their Drought Management Plan, they are implementing their voluntary reduction stage.  Until further notice, report and/or fix leaks as quickly as possible, reduce water use by 25%, refrain from watering plants and lawns, and refrain from filling pools, washing vehicles, driveways, and houses within the Summertown Utility District Water System.
