AN ETHRIDGE PROPERTY SUSTAINED DAMAGE OVER THE WEEKEND DUE TO A FIRE. EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WERE DISPATCHED TO THE RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE ON SATURDAY AROUND 12:30 PM IN THE 300 BLOCK OF HUDSON ROAD. UPON ARRIVAL CREWS FOUND SMOKE SHOWING FROM THE GABLES WITH FIRE VISIBLE IN THE BEDROOM AREA. MEMBERS OF THE ETHRIDGE FIRE DEPARTMENT, ALONG WITH AUTOMATIC AID FROM LAWRENCEBURG FIRE CREWS, WERE ABLE TO CONTAIN THE FIRE TO THE ROOM OF ORIGN AND EXTINGUISH THE ATTIC AREA ABOVE. ALL OCCUPANTS DID MAKE IT OUT TO SAFETY WITHOUT ANY INJURIES. MEMBERS OF THE GANDY AND HENRYVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENTS ALSO RESPONDED ALONG WITH LAWRENCE COUNTY EMS AND BOX 50.
