David Edwin Williams, age 70, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 06, 2023, at his residence. He was a native of Knoxville, TN, retired manager, a member of the Elks Lodge BPOE #2206, and of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Millard Henderson Williams; his mother, Sylvia Smelcer Perryman; his wife, Carla Bedford Williams; two brothers; and one sister.
He is survived by three children, April Shaffer (Chris) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Solomon Williams (Lori) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Ashley Williams of Columbia, TN; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Shaffer, Sam Williams, Clark Williams, and Corin Williams all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Rex Williams (Charlotte) of Knoxville, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 4:00 PM Monday, May 08, 2023. The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
