Richard Raymond Long

Richard Raymond Long passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at his home in Athens, Alabama. He was born in Tiffin, Ohio on April 17, 1942 and was 80 years old.

He was retired from the US Army after 23 years of service and a former manager at the Redstone commissary. He enjoyed Star Wars and collecting baseball cards and Hot Wheels. He also enjoyed setting up and being a vender at Dog Days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Koontz Long

He is survived by his,

Wife, Patricia Long of Athens, AL

Son, Tony and Annette Dugger Luttrell of Athens, AL

Sisters, Pat Steinmetz of Lakeland, FL

            Pam Long of Tiffin, OH

Several nieces and nephews also survive.
