Murder Case Bound to Grand Jury in Maury County

THE CASE AGAINST A MAURY COUNTY MAN IS BEING BOUND TO THE COUNTY’S GRAND JURY AFTER A COURT EARLIER THIS WEEK DETERMINED PROBABLE CAUSE. ACCORDING TO THE DAILY HERALD, NATHANIEL PIPKIN, 22, APPEARED IN A MT. PLEASANT COURTROOM ON MONDAY. PIPKIN IS ACCUSED OF KILLING THREE MEMBERS OF HIS FAMILY IN COLUMBIA IN OCTOBER. THE DECISION WAS MADE AFTER TESTIMONY AND LESS THAN 30 MINUTE OF DELIBERATION. THREE PEOPLE WERE KILLED IN THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF OCTOBER 1ST IN DOUBLE BRANCH ROAD HOME INCLUDING MAURY COUNTY INCLUDING AN 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL, KAILEE GRACE WARREN, HER MOTHER, TRACI LOUISE MCNEELY, 44, AND HALF BROTHER CARSON GLENN PIPKIN, 20. PIPKIN WAS LATER APPREHENDED BY THE MONTEAGLE POLICE AND TENNESSEE HIGHWAY PATROL. PIPKIN FACES THREE COUNTS OF MURDER, THREE COUNTS OF AGGRAVATED ASSAULT RESULTING IN DEATH AND ONE COUNT OF ATTEMPTED MURDER.
