Two Men Charged with Multiple Drug Charges in Lauderdale County

According to court documents, indictments were returned against two men on different drug offenses following two grand jury hearings in November in Lauderdale County. According to his indictment, John Joseph Cabral Jr., 70, of Florence, is accused of trafficking methamphetamine, unlawfully possessing a controlled substance, unlawfully possessing marijuana in the second degree, and unlawfully possessing drug paraphernalia. The TWRA is Looking for Feedback on Dates and Rules

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is looking for feedback on the dates and rules of the 2025–2026 hunting season. The current feedback session will end on January 1st, 2025. The public has a chance to express their thoughts and opinions to TWRA regarding hunting seasons and laws. Multiple homes in Summertown were targeted over the weekend to mailbox vandalism. In the early hours of Saturday morning, a resident noticed a vehicle being suspicious. Former Florida Resident Charged In Giles County

A former Gainesville, Florida Mayoral Candidate who was reported missing is charged with criminal homicide in Tennessee. Jail records from the Giles County Jail show 39-year-old Adam Rosenthal is in custody. Rosenthal is suspected of killing a man whose body was found Tuesday afternoon. Rosenthal is believed to be a member of a religious group known as The Twelve Tribes. Rosenthal had been reported missing from Gainesville earlier this year.
