The Lawrence County Public Library Search Committee for a new Library Director will hold meetings on the following dates: December 5th at 5:30 PM, December 17th at 5:30 PM, December 27th at 5:30 PM. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is looking for feedback on the dates and rules of the 2025–2026 hunting season. The current feedback session will end on January 1st, 2025. The public has a chance to express their thoughts and opinions to TWRA regarding hunting seasons and laws. Multiple homes in Summertown were targeted over the weekend to mailbox vandalism. In the early hours of Saturday morning, a resident noticed a vehicle being suspicious.
