JO PEPPERS MCGUIRE, AGE 89 OF LEXINGTON, DIED FRIDAY. SHE WAS A NATIVE OF LAWRENCE COUNTY, RETIRED FROM LAUDERDALE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH ALABAMA, AND A MEMBER OF LEXINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY TWO SONS: MIKE MICGUIRE OF DECATUR AND KEITH MCGUIRE OF LEXINGTON; DAUGHTER: SUSAN MCGUIRE ADAMS OF FLORENCE; 7 GRANDCHILDREN AND 2 GREAT GRANDCHILDREN; ONE SISTER: ALLENE BELEW OF FLORENCE; SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE FOR JO PEPPERS MCGUIRE WILL BE WEDNESDAY AT 1 AT LEXINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WITH BURIAL IN PETTUS CEMETERY. THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE VISITORS TUESDAY FROM 5 TO 7 AND WEDNESDAY FROM 12 TO 1 AT LEXINGTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH. LORETTO MEMORIAL CHAPEL IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
