WILLIAM HARWELL “BILL” MURREY, JR. , 60, OF PULASKI, DIED MONDAY.  HE WAS A NATIVE OF MEMPHIS, AN EAGLE SCOUT, RETIRED FROM THE TENNESSEE BUREAU OF INVESTIGATIONS, AND A MEMBER OF THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WHERE HE WAS PRESIDENT OF THE METHODIST MEN’S CLUB.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE: CALLIE MORRIS MURREY; HIS PARENTS: DR. HARWELL AND JANE CARY MURREY; BROTHERS: DR. MARK MURREY OF BOONE, NORTH CAROLINA AND DR. DAN MURREY OF CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA; SISTERS: CARY BRIMM OF BRENTWOOD AND MARGARET DINELLA OF BIRMINGHAM.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE SATURDAY AT 2 AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH IN PULASKI.  VISITATION WILL BE SATURDAY FROM 11 TO 2 AT THE CHURCH.

MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE METHODIST MEN’S CLUB AT FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OR THE GILES COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL BOOSTER CLUB.

BENNETT-MAY AND PIERCE FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS.
