JAMES MORGAN “BUD” ABBOTT, SR., 89, OF LAWRENCEBURG DIED SUNDAY.  HE WAS A NATIVE OF LINCOLN COUNTY, SERVED IN THE U.S. ARMY,A FORMER STATE TROOPER, FORMER OWNER OF CROCKETT BOWLING ALLEY AND THE BOLOGNA PALACE, AND A MEMBER OF THE COLEMAN MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE: JOANN STOTSTER ABBOTT OF LAWRENCEBURG; ONE SON: JIM ABBOTT OFLAWRENCEBURG; ONE DAUGHTER: LISA ABBOTT POPE OF FLORENCE; THREE GRANDCHILDREN AND FOUR GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.

THE FUNERAL SERVICE FOR JAMES MORGAN “BUD” ABBOTT, SR., WILL BE THURSDAY AT 1 AT COLEMAN MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WITH BURIAL IN THE LAWRENCE COUNTY MEMORIAL GARDENS.  THE FAMILY WILL RECEIVE VISITORS  THURSDAY FROM 10 TO 1 AT COLEMAN MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH.

NEAL FUNERAL HOME IS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS.
