MAURY COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT HAS ANNOUNCED SOME CHANGES IN LEADERSHIP THAT RECENTLY WENT INTO EFFECT.  STARTING AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR, MIKE BARNES, WHO PREVIOUSLY OVERSAW THE COUNTY'S TEAM OF SROS, STEPPED INTO THE VACANT CHIEF DEPUTY POSITION HELD BY RAY JETER.  DWIGHT FAUTT HAS TAKEN THE POSITION OF CAPTAIN, AS MARCUS ALBRIGHT WAS MADE LIEUTENANT AND DUANE SAYLE TOOK THE ROLE OF SERGEANT.  ALL WERE SWORN IN LAST WEEK BY CHIEF MAGISTRATE TERRY BREWER.
