A STRUCTURE FIRE OVER THE WEEKEND IN LAWRENCEBURG IS BEING INVESTIGATED AS AN ARSON AND AGGRAVATED BURGLARY.  ACCORDING TO REPORTS, EMERGENCY PERSONNEL WERE DISPATCHED TO AN APARTMENT ON BUFFALO ROAD AROUND 4:30 PM.  FIRE PERSONNEL ALERTED LAW ENFORCEMENT THAT THE FIRE WAS SUSPICIOUS IN NATURE AND IT APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN SET INTENTIONALLY.  INVESTIGATORS FOUND THE APARTMENT HAD BEEN RAMSACKED, WITH FURNITURE TURNED UPSIDE DOWN WITH CUTS AND A BROWN LOOKING SUBSTANCE ON IT AS WELL AS A PIZZA BOX THAT WAS SET ON FIRE WITH CLOTHING ITEMS PLACED OVER IT.  THE VICTIM ADVISED SHE HAD NOT BEEN AT THE RESIDENCE ALL DAY AND THAT ALL DOORS WERE LOCKED.  A BATHROOM WINDOW WAS FOUND OPENED.  THE INCIDENT REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
