AS WEEK 9 CONCLUDED IN AREA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL ACTION, FRIDAY NIGHT PROVED TO BE UNSUCCESSFUL FOR LAWRENCE COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS AS THEY WERE ALL AWAY THIS WEEK. THE LAWRENCE COUNTY WILDCATS LOST TO TULLAHOMA 30 TO 7, THE SUMMERTOWN EAGLES TRAVELLED TO EAGLEVILLE AND LOST 13 TO 7 AND LORETTO PLAYED LEWIS COUNTY WHERE THE PANTHERS BEAT THE MUSTANGS 37 TO 6.  IN GILES COUNTY, THE BOBCATS PLAYED HOST TO REPUBLIC AND CAME OUT VICTORIOUS WITH A 42 TO 0 WIN AND THE RICHLAND RAIDERS TRAVELLED TO CORNERSVILLE TO TAKE ON THE BULL DOGS AND WERE DEFEATED 41 TO 21.  IN WAYNE COUNTY, THE BOBCATS WERE DOMINATED BY THE MCEWEN WARRIORS 35 TO 0 AND IN MARSHALL COUNTY, THE TIGERS BEAT THE SPRING HILL RAIDERS 45 TO 13.  COLUMBIA ACADEMY PLAYED TIPTON ROSEMARK ACADEMY IN AN AWAY GAME WHERE THE BULLDOGS CRUSHED THE REBELS 28 TO 8 AND MT. PLEASANT MADE THE SHORT TRIP TO ZION CHRISTIAN ACADEMY AND WON 47 TO 13.  COLUMBIA CENTRAL MADE PAGE HIGH SCHOOL FEEL AT HOME AS THE PATRIOTS OUTPLAYED THE LIONS 38 TO 7 AND SUMMIT HIGH SCHOOL MADE THE TRIP TO SHELBYVILLE WHERE THE SPARTANS LOST IN A NAILBITER TO THE GOLDEN EAGLES 42 TO 25.
