George Sanders Ogea died Thursday June 3rd at his home in Pulaski. He was born in Jackson, Alabama and was 72 years old. George served in the US Army, ran a prison ministry in Clifton, and was a longtime member of First Baptist Church –Pulaski. He also worked at American Magotteaux .

Visitation will be Saturday, June 5th from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory

Services will be Sunday, June 6th at 2:00pm in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.

Burial will be in Giles Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church, 408 South First Street, Pulaski, Tennessee 38478.

Survivors include a Daughter, Lynette and husband Bob Augestad of Georgia, Son, Philip Ray and wife Kelly Vernon of Louisanna, Daughter, Tammy and husband Barry Holt of Pulaski, 13 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren,  Brothers, Arthur and wife Donna Ogea  and Richard Ogea both of LA, Sister, Ella Grace Johnson of LA, and several other family members and friends also survive.
