Giles County increased to 50 patients Monday who have tested positive for COVID-19.
The county also reported one fatality.
According to TDH, Monday's data includes numbers from both Sunday and Monday, due to an unplanned shutdown of the state surveillance system over the weekend.
Nineteen of those confirmed cases have now recovered.
In Monday's update, negative tests increased to 1,729, up from 1,646.
Test results in Tennessee counties contiguous to Giles are: Lawrence with 116 positive, 2,671 negative, 56 recovered, four fatalities; Lincoln has 53 positive, 2,027 negative, 34 recovered; Marshall increased to 67 positive, 1,684 negative, 40 recovered, one fatality; and Maury has 282 positive, 4,808 negative, 151 recovered, three fatalities.
As of 2 p.m. Monday, Tennessee has reported 42,297 total cases, 727,985 negative tests, 592 fatalities, and 26962 recovered.
