A SEARCH WARRANT EXECUTED MONDAY IN ATHENS RESULTED IN THE ARREST OF AN ARDMORE MAN AND THE SEIZURE OF AN ATTACK SQUIRREL.  MEDIA SOURCES REPORT, THE LIMESTONE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT SEARCHED AN APARTMENT ON PINEY CHAPEL ROAD BELONGING TO 35 YEAR OLD MICKEY PAULK.  INVESTIGATORS OBTAINED INFORMATION PRIOR TO THE SEARCH THAT PAULK HAD A SQUIRREL IN THE RESIDENCE AND THAT HE HAD BEEN FEEDING THE SQUIRREL METH TO MAKE IT AGGRESSIVE. A SEARCH OF THE PROPERTY YIELDED METH, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, BODY ARMOUR, AMMUNITION, AND THE SQUIRREL. THE SQUIRREL WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY ANIMAL CONTROL AND THE ALABAMA GAME AND FISH DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION WAS NOTIFIED.  OFFICIALS ADVISE THERE IS NO SAFE WAY TO TEST THE SQUIRREL FOR METH. RONNIE REYNOLDS, 37, OF ARDMORE, WAS AT THE HOME AT THE TIME AND WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY.  REYNOLDS FACES CHARGES OF POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, AND LOITERING AT A KNOWN DRUG HOUSE. HE WAS RELEASED FROM THE LIMESTONE COUNTY JAIL ON $4,000 BOND.  MICKEY PAULK, 35, IS STILL AT LARGE AND IS WANTED FOR POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.  ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING PAULK'S WHEREABOUTS IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTACT THE LIMESTONE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.
