A MALE SUBJECT WANTED OUT OF MARSHALL COUNTY WAS ARRESTED SUNDAY MORNING IN MAURY COUNTY AT A CHURCH ON MACK BENDERMAN ROAD.  MEDIA SOURCES REPORT, THE MAN, IDENTIFIED AS 50 YEAR OLD DAVID LEWIS, WENT INSIDE THE BETHEL HILL CHURCH OF CHRIST AND AS SOON AS THE SERVICE BEGAN WALKED OUT.  AN OFF DUTY GILES COUNTY NARCOTICS DETECTIVE WENT TO CHECK ON THE MALE AND NOTICED HIM SMOKING AT HIS VEHICLE. LEWIS WENT BACK INSIDE THE CHURCH AT WHICH TIME THE DETECTIVE SAW WHAT APPEARED TO BE A BLACK PISTOL IN LEWIS' CAR.  THE DETECTIVE CALLED DISPATCH AND IT WAS DETERMINED THE MALE WAS WANTED OUT OF MARSHALL COUNTY FOR THEFT.  OFFICERS WITH THE MAURY COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT RESPONDED AND LEWIS WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY.  THE FIREARM TURNED OUT OT BE PELLET PISTOL.  A LONG SWORD AND OTHER KNIVES WERE FOUND IN THE TRUCK.  THE CHURCH WAS PLACED ON LOCKDOWN DURING THE INCIDENT.
