A MARSHALL COUNTY TEEN HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE FATAL FIRE THAT TOOK THE LIFE OF A LEWISBURG MAN. MEDIA SOURCES REPORT 74 YEAR OLD MALCOLM GARRETT WAS FOUND DEAD INSIDE HIS LEWISBURG HOME LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AFTER FIREFIGHTERS WORKED TO EXTINGUISH THE FULLY ENGULFED STRUCTURE. THE TBI ALONG WITH DETECTIVES FROM THE LEWISBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT HAVE BEEN INVESTIGATING THE HOMICIDE IN WHICH 18 YEAR OLD ALYSSA HUTT WAS IDENTIFIED AS A SUSPECT. ON THURSDAY HUTT WAS LOCATED IN SUMMERTOWN IN POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE AS WELL AS A CRYSTAL SUBSTANCE BELIEVED TO BE METH AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA. THE TEEN WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY BY THE LAWRENCE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT AND FACES CHARGES OF POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY, POSSESSION WITH THE INTENT TO MANUFACTURE A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.  AFTER QUESTIONING, HUTT WAS CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL HOMICIDE AND AGGRAVATED ROBBERY BY THE LEWISBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT AND WAS BOOKED INTO THE MARSHALL COUNTY DETENTION FACILITY ON BOND OF THREE HUNDRED AND TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS. THE INVESTIGATION IS STILL ONGOING, AND MORE ARRESTS ARE EXPECTED.
