Widow’s Ministry Celebrates 15 Years

Noah’s Ark Widows Ministry celebrated 15 years of ministry on September 6.  The group was formed in 2010 to provide support and fellowship for widows in the area.  Since its founding, the group has received 139 members and adopted several ministries.  The group mans a Baby Tent at the Middle Tennessee District Fair, allowing parents a comfortable spot to tend to the needs of their babies, as well as a Hikers Ministry on the Appalachian Trail and a Christmas card ministry for nursing home residents.  The group also supports a number of local charities.  Meetings are held the first Saturday each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Ethridge First Baptist Church fellowship hall.
