A former Alabama State Trooper turned himself in to authorities Tuesday on charges connected to prostitution, according to WAAY 31. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that former Senior Trooper Paul Richey was booked into the Limestone County Jail on charges of solicitation of prostitution and computer tampering. ALEA stated the charges stem from an ongoing investigation conducted jointly by the agency and the State Bureau of Investigation. Richey resigned from ALEA and is no longer employed there. The agency confirmed that the investigation is continuing.
