Florence Electric Customers Offered Outage App

The Florence, Alabama Electricity Department is inviting its customers to enroll in a system that allows easy reporting of power outages. It is easy to enroll in the text messaging alert service from your mobile device.  Simply text the word “ENROLL” to 256-764-4456.  Save the number in your device and any time you have an outage text the word “out” to the same number.  If your phone number is not associated with your account you will need to contact Customer Service and update your information.
