Bridge on S.R. 243 Reopens, Restoring Key Connection Between Mt. Pleasant and Columbia

The bridge on State Route 243 connecting Mt. Pleasant and Columbia has officially reopened to all traffic.

Local officials expressed appreciation to the public for their patience during the construction period. With the bridge now open, drivers can once again travel the familiar route between the two communities.

Motorists are encouraged to drive safely as normal traffic resumes.
