Tennessee Valley Weather Honored

The Tennessee Valley Weather Team from Lawrenceburg was honored last week with the Media Award from the Emergency Management Association of Tennessee during the organization’s annual conference in Murfreesboro.

The award was presented in recognition of “Outstanding Service and Dedication to Supporting the Emergency Management Community of the State of Tennessee.”

The Emergency Management Association of Tennessee Media Award is given to individuals or organizations that demonstrate exceptional commitment to informing the public and supporting emergency management initiatives through broadcast, digital, or print media.

The honor highlights those who go above and beyond in strengthening communication and collaboration between the media and emergency services throughout the state.
