Elkmont Man Faces Multiple Charges

A 20-year-old Elkmont man faces multiple charges after the body of a teenage girl was found in his home.

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office said Johnathan Andrew Etter, 20, has been booked into the Limestone County Jail. He is currently charged with abuse of a corpse, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, and there may be further charges.

Last week the sheriff’s office received a missing person report involving an 18-year-old girl from an Ardmore family.

A subsequent search included a residence on Esten Lane in Elkmont, identified as the home of the missing girl’s ex-boyfriend. They found the body of the missing teen at the home, and a search warrant revealed further evidence.

The case remains under investigation according to authorities.
