Saturday, April 19th, the Fayetteville square will be transformed into a hub of activity for the Annual Slawburger Festival.

Food, art, music and light-hearted contests are just part of the happening that will have something of interest for everyone.

And of course the “Slawburger,” a favorite Southern-style burger that was born in 1923 at Honey’s Restaurant will be featured, an all-beef patty topped with a sweet, tangy mustard-based slaw, folded into a toasted bun.

More than 60 food and artisanal vendors, a Beer Garden for those 21 and over, and an expanded Kids Zone, will fill the streets surrounding the historic Lincoln County Courthouse, plus several lighthearted contests will also take place.
