A Drug Bust in Lawrence County Leads Officers to Discover Fentanyl in Bath Salts

On Thursday, April 10th, due to multiple citizen complaints and the findings of an ongoing investigation into the sale of drugs at the apartment, the Lawrence County SWAT team and the Narcotics Investigation Division of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 1059 Old Florence Rd, Apt E. Approximately 6 ounces of fentanyl laced with “bath salts” and methamphetamine, 2 ounces of methamphetamine, and a variety of paraphernalia, including digital scales, pipes, and tiny clear bags that are consistent with the sale of illegal narcotics, were discovered and seized at the residence upon the execution of the search warrant. Wanda Shelton and Reagan Mack, two suspects, were taken into custody and charged with drug offenses.
