Giles County Commission Meeting (4/21)

The Giles County Commission will meet April 21st, 2025.

On the agenda for the meeting, approval of minutes of the March 17^th, 2025 meeting, employee of the quarter, the EMS Training Report, the Giles County EDC Report , the Archives Director Report , and any public comments.

Then new Notaries Public at Large and Re-election of Notaries Public, the commission will also visit the Giles County Water Alliance, hear reports from 2 Commissioners, the Finance Director for February, 2025, the Quarterly report of Giles County Highway Department including a statement from CTAS, the Quarterly report of the Giles County Health Department, the Giles County Library report , the Financial Management Policies and Procedures Manual update and the Giles County Trustee Breakdown of Non Collected Taxes.

Then the commission will deal with contracts, agreements, and grants including a Government Grant Contract with CPF Broadband Connected Community Facilities Grant Program.

Then the resolution dealing with Amendment 2025-17-Authorizing the amendment of the 2024-2025 Budget, County General Fund 101, Drug Fund 122, Debt Service Fund 151, Capital Projects Fund 171.  Resolution 2025-18 dealing with the oploid fund appropriations will also be heard, and finally any unfinished business and new business.
