Operation Impact I-65…In The Books

Over the weekend State and Local Law Enforcement agencies partnered with the Tennessee Highway Safety Office for “Operation Impact I-65” to reduce traffic fatalities on Interstate 65.

From midnight April 12th until 11:59 p.m., state troopers, deputies, and officers increased traffic enforcement from the Kentucky-Tennessee state line to the Tennessee-Alabama state line.

Agencies cracked down on distracted driving, speeding, seatbelt use, impaired driving, and other hazardous moving violations.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Lawrenceburg District, was honored to partner with our local agencies, and we dedicated all available resources to this enforcement operation.
