Mount Pleasant Police To Host Citizens Academy

Mount Pleasant Police Department will be hosting a Citizens Academy this summer.  This is an educational program designed to create better informed and engaged citizens.  The goal of the course is to gain support for police work, explain operations of police agencies, and foster better communication between citizens and the department.  The class will meet one night per week for eight weeks.  Numbers of participants will be limited and all applicants must pass a background check.  Please let them know if you would be interested in participating.
