Loretto Sacred Heart School to Close

Officials with Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic School have announced that the school will close at the end of the current school year.  School officials attribute the closing to a declining enrollment rate.  The school had already cut back, serving only Pre-K through first grade, with only nine students enrolled for the current school year.  They indicate that only six students have enrolled for the 2025-26 school year, and that that they cannot continue to effectively operate with such a small number of students.
