Terry Dwayne Hughes, of Pulaski, Tennessee passed away Thursday morning, April 10 th , 2025,
surrounded by his loving family, at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital Pulaski. He was born in
Pulaski, Tennessee on April 30 th , 1943 and was 81 years old.
Terry was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a member of Second Street Church of
Christ. Terry was an avid longtime fan of all local sports. He worked for many years at Sunshine
Cleaners and the Giles County Highway Department, where he retired as a mechanic.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12 th , 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce
Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 12 th , 2025 in the chapel of Bennett-May &
Pierce Funeral Home.
The burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, Tennessee
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eva Crabtree Hughes, his wife, Coach Royce
Hughes, and brother, Jerry Hughes.
He is survived by,
Daughter, Tancy Hughes of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Son, Troy (Andrea) Hughes of Pulaski, Tennessee.
Grandchildren, Clay Hughes of Pulaski, TN
Victoria (Trillion) Marks of Pulaski, TN
Courtney (Blake) Gowan of Athens, Al
A.J. (Alysa) Pettus Jr. of Athens, AL
