The Lawrenceburg City Council Upcoming Meeting

The Lawrenceburg City Council will meet on Thursday, April 10th at 9:00 AM in the Council Meeting Room in the Municipal Complex located at 25 public square. Anyone wishing to address the agenda items must sign in prior to the meeting. The agenda includes several ordinances and resolutions. The ordinances include; the second reading for establishing fees associated with the rental of the Crockett Theater facility as well as fees associated with the sale of tickets and preservations fees. The second reading of an ordinance to establish fees associated with the use of the facilities and programs through the Parks and Recreation Department. The second reading of establishing and updated occupational safety and health program plan and the first reading of entitled budget appropriations of revenue and expenditures for the 2024-2025 fiscal year for the city. Resolutions include; entering into an agreement with game time for the installation of playground equipment at Barry Hogues Park, entering an amendment to the contract in lieu of performance bonds as it related to the proper operation and closure/post closure of the demolition landfill, and appoint Dwain Bradley and Brock Berryhill, and reappoint Matt Calvert to the Lawrenceburg Parks and Recreation Advisory Board. Lastly, the authorization of payment to Lawrence County in the amount of $40,000.00 to go toward the purchase of property located next to the library and entering a contract with the State of Tennessee for the sweeping of State Streets within the city limits.
