Mary Sharpton Hildreth

Mary Sharpton Hildreth, age 90, of Columbia, TN passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired hairdresser at Castner Knott, and a member of Calvary Hill Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lovie Woodall Sharpton; her husband, B.A. Hildreth; her son-in-law, Wayne Edwards; and her brother, James Sharpton.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Edwards of Columbia, TN; one grandson,Tim Edwards (Mary Grace) of Columbia, TN; her great-granddaughter, Allie Grace Edwards of Columbia, TN; her brother, Glenn Sharpton (Colleen) of Leoma, TN; her sister-in-law, Margaret Sharpton of Arrington, TN; several nieces; and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at Dunn United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM Friday, April 4, 2025, with Tim Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Dunn Cemetery in Leoma, TN.
