Lawrence County Fire and Rescue Respond to a Residential Structure Fire Caused by Lightning Strike

In the early morning hours on Monday, March 31st, Lawrence County Fire and Rescue responded to a residential structure fire in the Ethridge Fire District. According to dispatch information, a lightning strike hit the home, and a fire was confirmed inside the residence. An automatic aid Engine Company from Lawrenceburg Fire also responded. With Ethridge Fire and Lawrenceburg Fire on scene, the fire soon became under control. Injuries are unknown at this time.
