From the Maury County Emergency Management, multiple powerful storms swept through Maury County on March 31st, 2025 in the early hours of the morning. The storms left a trail of destruction in its wake. These storms brought intense winds, heavy rainfall, and possible tornado activity; they caused significant damage to the County. Emergency responders are actively assessing the extent of the damage. Reports indicate downed trees, power lines, and damage to multiple structures. Several neighborhoods experienced power outages, and local officials are urging residents to avoid hazardous areas while crews work to restore services. Trotwood Avenue remains closed at this time. The National Weather Service will be in the area to assist in damage assessments. We do ask that people remain vigilant while driving; there will be branches, trees, power lines, and other forms of debris on the road. Residents are advised to stay tuned to local news outlets and official emergency management channels for the latest developments.
