The Lawrence County School Board Meeting Discussions

The Lawrence County School System Board met for Regular Session on Thursday, March 27th at 5:00 PM in the Central Office. Before the meeting, the LCSS BOE Board Retreat met to discuss ideas regarding long-range goals, planning, capacity, and utilizing challenges now and in the coming years. The Board discussed the initial data from the MGT Study and steps to consider along a ten-year path. The Board focused on the planning for and addressing future enrollment challenges as Lawrence County experiences population increases. The next Regular Session meeting will convene on Thursday, April 17th at 4:00 PM.
